5 Weeks

Jacob is 5 weeks old today. I can't believe how the days are flying by and he is changing every second. He is staying awake more during the day now, so he is having time in his bouncer and on the floor for tummy time.

Four generations

Baptism

Jacob got baptized on June 8th. Jeremy and Ashleigh are his Godparents. It was a nice service, but Jacob wasn't very happy. He cried most of the time, but that's okay....he was just hungry. He looked adorable in his baptismal outfit that Grandma Sharon bought him.

Here was the one time Jacob wasn't crying, he seemed to enjoy the water over his head.

Shower

My cousin Ashleigh and aunt Sonja gave Jacob and I a baby shower last weekend June 7th. Jacob got lots of nice clothes to wear this summer and this winter too. He also got some cool toys play with. Here is Jacob enjoying the shower. Grandma Priscilla in the background came to visit from Louisiana.

Grandparents

A couple of weeks ago, Jacob and I went out to see Great-grandma Doris. She really loved the visit and was excited to see her newest great-grandson.

Grandpa Larry came from Wyoming to see Jacob over Memorial Day weekend. He was a little out of practice on holding a baby, but he did good. Jacob enjoyed the visit from his Grandpa.

Boy toys

Daddy went fishing last weekend, so he had to get Jacob out in the boat as well. We had to take a picture of Jacob's first time in the boat. Jeff can't wait until Jacob is old enough to take fishing.

Since we were outside, Daddy wanted to get Jacob on the 4-wheeler too.

3 Weeks

Jacob was 3 weeks old on Monday. I can't believe it has been 3 weeks already. Time is just flying by. He has some funny expressions that really make us laugh. It's so amazing the little things that put a smile on your face. He is changing everyday. He is doing well. He still likes to sleep alot, but is having more frequent awake periods. During these periods, he has his tummy time and play time with mommy and daddy.
